LuSE records downward trends |
By Business Reporter THE Lusaka Stock Exchange (LuSE) price movements recorded a downward trend on Friday with the all-share index closing at 2,528.70 points down by 1.51 per cent. On Thursday last week, the all-share index recorded a further decline of 0.51 per cent to close at 2,623.42 points.
According to LuSE daily commentary for Friday, all the price movements recorded on Friday were on the downward trend. A turnover of K418,892,500 was recorded after transacting 773,037 in 32 trades. The report states that Zain Zambia lost K21 to end at K479. National Breweries (Natbrew) dropped to K5, 200 from K5,210. Lafarge Cement Zambia closed at K4, 580, down by K20. Transactions were also recorded in Cavmont Capital Holdings Zambia (CCHZ), Shoprite, Zambian Breweries (Zambrew) and Zanaco.
